SRAM chain manufacturers have developed PowerLock™ as a tool-free, safe and consistent way to connect SRAM 10 and 11-speed chains. Although PowerLock™ does not require any special tools for assembly, given the narrow tolerance range of a 10-/11-speed drive, each PowerLock™ should only be used once.

PowerdomeX:
Made from heat-treated, high-quality tool steel, this hollow construction features CNC-machined sprockets and rear openings for lighter weight and added rigidity. It is SRAM’s stiffest and lightest cassette.

X-Glide™:
X-Glide technology guarantees smooth gear changes at all times and in all conditions. The developers at SRAM/Truvativ have developed a new chainring and sprocket geometry that enables perfect interaction with the chain. This doubles the reliability of every single shift, even at high speeds, and reduces the risk of failure to a minimum.
